Medical Emergency
Working virtually through the night, the Airfreight Africa team made the delivery of Proplex to Tygerberg Hospital possible for a life saving infusion. The child responded to the medication and survived the night.

Thanks
For three consecutive years we have been using Airfreight Africa to courier our licence application to the IBA in Gauteng.
We compliment you on your efficiency and friendly service and would recommend you company whenever we have occasion to do so. Thank you and well done for providing a quality service, when elsewhere good service is becoming extremely rare and even more inefficient!!

Letter of Recommendation
We have dealt with Airfreight Africa since the late 70’s. In line with our business, we have used almost all the services provided by yourselves.
You have always been extremely efficient, helpful and have always walked the extra mile for our company. We have no hesitation to recommend you to anybody who is seeking a dedicated freight agent.

Letter of Recommendation
When investigating our move to Australia, I searched for quotes from freight/clearing and forwarding companies on the internet. Of the few that were prepared to move personal effects, I came across Airfreight Africa and spoke to Shawn. At the time, I commented that Shawn was rather relaxed and that it all seemed too easy.
Shawn offered me good rates from Johannesburg to Adelaide. He then put me in touch with the Alice Springs branch of Southern Cross Transport (Airfreight Africa’s international supplier), where I spoke to Sue Hales. She swiftly liaised with Shawn and came back to me with a very amicable quote. Within 72 hours, our goods were en-route from Johannesburg.
Having worked in the shipping industry for 15 years, I learned what could go wrong. Nobody would insure my cargo for more than 20% of the value. This was despite the photos I produced. I also heard about how things go missing, get smashed, and never arrive at the destination.
Sue called me once the goods arrived to say that all had gone well and they would be railed the following day. Two days later, after a strike, Southern Cross called to arrange a delivery time – which they kept to.
The greatest surprise was to find that our boxes had not even been opened. They had simply been x-rayed. Besides the odd glass that broke because it wasn't packed properly, we received all our items.
I was a little apprehensive, purely because Shawn made it sound so easy. He was spot on. Sue - thanks for your invaluable support. To both of you, I have not met your support teams, and I know that you would not have been able to provide this level of excellence without them. Please pass on our sincere thanks and praises for their efforts.
We airfreighted our goods because the financial difference between air and sea (Jhb to Adelaide) was only R1000.00. The time difference could have been anything up to 12 weeks. We shipped 24 plastic crates and 3 separate packages weighing 721kg. Total cost R26 000. (About AU$ 5200).
