Definition of a document and non-document international shipment

Documents include reports, manuscripts, computer print-outs, inter-office correspondence, other paper based communications and unbound printed matter. These items only require the completion of an Airfreight Africa waybill.

Non Documents/Parcels includes any item that is not a document. Customs requires that all items must have a value. They need an original commercial invoice for items that will be re-sold and a pro-forma invoice for items not intended for re-sale.
